Hi, I'm Nichole
I'm an Advanced Esthetician who believes skincare is about so much more than skin. It's about confidence, connection, healing, and creating a space where you can simply exhale.
I was born and raised in Truckee, California, but Reno has been home for more than 20 years. My path to esthetics wasn't exactly a straight one. Before entering this industry, I spent years as a database programmer and analyst, working behind three computer monitors every day. I loved solving problems, but over time, I realized I was missing something that mattered deeply to me: human connection.
After spending seven wonderful years at home raising my two amazing boys, I took a leap of faith at 37 and went back to school to pursue the career that had quietly been calling my name since I was young.
Even as a little girl, I knew I wanted to work in esthetics. And as I've gotten older, I've realized my passion isn't simply helping people achieve healthier skin—it's helping people feel genuinely cared for.
After graduating and becoming an Advanced Esthetician, I had the opportunity to begin my career at a well-known Reno med spa, where I gained invaluable hands-on experience, built relationships with incredible clients, and continued growing as a provider. I'm incredibly grateful for that chapter and everything it taught me. But eventually, I felt another pull—the same kind that had led me to esthetics in the first place. It was time to take another leap of faith and create something of my own.
That leap became Skin Haven Esthetics.
I created Skin Haven to bring together everything I love about this industry: results-driven skincare, relaxation, education, meaningful connection, and an environment where you never feel like just another appointment on the schedule.
One of my favorite parts of this profession is supporting women through every season of life. Whether you're celebrating, struggling, feeling confident, or feeling completely overwhelmed, you deserve a place where you feel seen, heard, and cared for.
Sometimes a facial is about healthier skin. Sometimes it's about having an hour where someone else takes care of you. I truly believe both are equally important.
This career is especially meaningful to me because, for a long time, I never thought it would be physically possible. After shattering my elbow at 18 and spending years dealing with chronic pain and limited mobility, I believed this dream simply wasn't in the cards for me. Being able to use my hands every day to do work I genuinely love is something I will never take for granted.
My goal is simple: I want every client to leave my treatment room feeling a little lighter, a little more confident, and a whole lot more cared for than when they walked in.
Helping someone feel like the best version of themselves is why I love what I do, and it's a privilege I'm grateful for every single day.
